Containers arriving in Auckland have to be unpacked under strict biosecurity rules, and this warehouse needs a Warehouse Person who already holds AP/MPI certification to keep that work compliant.
You would oversee container devanning, make sure MPI procedures are followed, complete inspection records and paperwork, and still lift and move goods with the team. It is a long-term role with early starts and full working days, suited to someone who likes being hands-on while taking responsibility for standards. Relevant overseas candidates may be considered for sponsorship.

Key Responsibilities
- Run container devanning each day and supervise unloading
- Keep every unloading job compliant with MPI rules and procedures
- Fill in MPI paperwork and inspection records
- Lift, handle and move goods alongside the team
- Keep containers moving through so deadlines are met
- Raise any safety, compliance or operational concern quickly
- Work in step with the other warehouse and container staff
- Stick to health and safety procedures and keep records accurate
- Keep the warehouse productive and organised and help with other tasks when needed
Requirements & Eligibility
- Hold a current and valid AP/MPI Certification
- Past experience in devanning, container handling or warehousing
- Hands-on knowledge of MPI procedures and requirements
- Fit and able to lift by hand on a regular basis
- At ease in a practical, hands-on operation
- Dependable, with excellent punctuality and attendance
- Works efficiently as part of a team
- Understands workplace deadlines and timeframes and follows compliance steps and instructions accurately
- Takes strict health and safety standards seriously
- Free for early morning starts and full working days
