Workshop Technician
Visa sponsorship
Manufacturing · Auckland, New Zealand · Full-Time · $50,000/yr · Visa: Employer sponsored
This is not a press-the-button machine job. An engineering and metal fabrication business in Auckland wants a Workshop Technician who can take a job from drawing to dispatch: run the CNC gear, fit and assemble, do some fabrication and keep the work moving.
You will read engineering drawings, work out materials, dimensions and tolerances, plan the workshop tasks, then check finished parts before they head to site. Making sure installers receive the right parts, fasteners and materials is a big part of the role, and now and then you will go out to help with fitting. Employer-supported visa sponsorship may be available for eligible applicants.
Mention the CNC machines, press brakes or lasers you have run, your MIG and TIG welding level and the jobs you coordinated. draft an all-round fitter and CNC CV with Build AI CV so the full range is clear.
