You would look after an established portfolio of business clients and become their trusted adviser. That means going through their figures with them, talking about performance, spotting risks and opportunities, and helping with planning, cash flow and forecasts. Tax and accounting compliance also sit with you, along with guidance on tax questions. The firm wants an accountant ready to take more ownership of relationships and results.

Key Responsibilities
- Look after an established portfolio of business clients and build lasting relationships with their owners
- Give practical, commercially minded advisory guidance
- Go through financial results with clients and discuss how the business is performing
- Spot opportunities, risks and areas where a business could improve
- Help clients plan and make strategic decisions, including cash flow management and forecasting
- Advise on tax and accounting matters and oversee compliance obligations
- Be a dependable, professional adviser for clients' ongoing needs
- Work with colleagues to deliver accurate, high-quality results for clients
Requirements & Eligibility
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in public practice accounting
- CA or CPA qualification
- Track record managing and advising business clients, with real strength in advisory work and client relationship management
- Communicates very well and earns trust and credibility
- Comfortable dealing directly with business owners and decision-makers
- Commercially aware, with a practical way of solving problems
- Solid knowledge of accounting and taxation compliance requirements
- A professional background and qualifications that can be verified for employer consideration
- Australian work experience will be highly regarded
