For probashi tradespeople with welding and fabrication skills, here is a full-time opening in Brisbane, Australia. A welding and fabrication business is hiring special class welders, boilermakers and pipefitters.
Welders on this team work with GMAW (STT), FCAW and GTAW. Pipefitters assemble pipes, gaskets, valves and the equipment connected to them, following a range of specifications. Both stainless steel and carbon steel are used, and you read drawings to guide the work.
The business wants trade-qualified workers who can lead a job and plan it well. Clear spoken communication and strong technical knowledge are also important.

Key Responsibilities
- Complete welding work in GMAW (STT), FCAW and GTAW

Requirements & Eligibility
- Trade qualified; for pipefitters, a trade qualification is preferred
- Professional experience in welding and fabrication
- Pipe laying experience for pipefitters, and experience with stainless and carbon steel
- Able to read and interpret drawings, with strong leadership, high-level technical knowledge, excellent planning and good verbal communication
- Australian work rights or sponsorship eligibility
