Many probashi mechanics have kept trucks running in the Gulf or Malaysia. Now a logistics business in Adelaide, SA has two Diesel Mechanic / Trailer Mechanic jobs. Both are full-time and permanent, and the workshop team is growing.
The work is about safety and care. You service heavy trucks and semi-trailers. You find and fix brake, electrical and suspension faults. You repair axles, wheel bearings and landing legs. You also do NHVR safety inspections (checks under Australia's heavy vehicle rules) and write job reports.
The employer offers 482 visa sponsorship to the right, eligible candidate. Qualified mechanics in Australia or overseas who meet the visa requirements can apply.

Key Responsibilities
- Service, maintain and repair heavy diesel trucks and semi-trailers
- Find and fix mechanical, electrical, brake and suspension faults
- Do preventative maintenance and scheduled services
- Repair air brake systems, axles, wheel bearings, landing legs and trailer parts
- Do safety inspections and keep NHVR compliance, and complete maintenance records and job reports
- Work efficiently and to a high standard
Requirements & Eligibility
- Trade qualification as a Heavy Diesel Mechanic or equivalent
- Experience on heavy vehicles and trailers
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- Experience with air brake systems and trailer maintenance
- Able to work alone and with a team
- HC/MC driver's licence is an advantage
- Strong work ethic
- Full commitment to safety
