A Duty Manager is the person who runs the venue during a shift. In this role you take charge of each shift and help with work at both the front and the back of house. The pub is part of a larger hotel group that values strong governance, clear standards and growing its leaders, and there is potential to progress within the group. It suits an experienced Duty Manager or a senior supervisor ready for more leadership. Sponsorship is available for this role, so the employer can back a worker's visa application.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead every shift across bar, gaming, functions and guest rooms
- Take care of opening, closing, cash and shift reports
- Help with functions and events, local marketing and promotions inside the venue
- Help with ordering, stock control, suppliers and rostering, keeping labour efficient
- Help keep the venue compliant with RSA, RCG, gaming, WHS and food safety
- Coach and grow staff while keeping service and guest care strong
Requirements & Eligibility
- Duty Manager or Senior Supervisor experience of at least 1 year
- Gaming experience
- TAB and KENO experience
- Current certificates for RSA, RCG and ARCG
- Strong presence as a leader and strong communication skills
- A calm, organised worker who focuses on solutions
- At ease when balancing service, people and compliance
- Back-of-house experience is highly regarded; experience with functions, guest rooms, inventory, rostering, compliance reporting and local marketing is favourable
