Do you enjoy winning new shelf space as much as keeping it? A growing FMCG business in Sydney wants an ambitious, commercially minded Account Manager who knows retail, likes working with independent customers and is driven by sales growth. The role is hybrid.
It goes beyond looking after an existing book. You would find new openings, build up current accounts and play a real part in where the business goes next, with genuine ownership and autonomy. For the right person, there is a clear pathway into a Business Manager role as the company expands. Sponsorship may be available for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow a portfolio of independent customers and key accounts, building long-term relationships with each.
- Find ways to lift sales and expand existing accounts.
- Win new business.
- Work closely with customers to learn their needs and uncover commercial openings.
- Track sales performance against agreed targets.
- Share market and customer insights with the wider business.
- Represent the brand professionally and own your territory, driving results.
Requirements & Eligibility
- Commercially hungry, proactive and ambitious, with a hands-on way of working.
- Experience in FMCG, retail, wholesale, field sales or a related setting.
- A strong grasp of retail and independent customers.
- Proven experience in account management, sales or business development.
- A commercial mindset focused on growing sales, and the confidence to spot opportunities and turn them into results.
- Excellent relationship-building and communication skills.
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
- The drive to take the next step in your career.
