A private hospital in Perth has just opened, and it needs experienced Registered Nurses for its cardiac catheterisation laboratory. A cath lab is the hospital unit where heart procedures are carried out.
The hospital belongs to one of Australia's largest private healthcare providers. The building is new and made for this purpose. Before it opened, interventional cardiology was not offered in its area. The nurses who start now are the first team on the unit, so you will help decide the best way to care for patients, and you will give safe, effective care with the patient at the centre.
You can work permanent part-time, up to 70 hours a fortnight, or casual. Shifts are 12 hours. The employer offers sponsorship visas to eligible nurses. This means the employer supports the work visa for nurses who meet the conditions, which is useful news for any probashi nurse.

Requirements & Eligibility
- AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse that is current
- Clinical work experience, preferably in a cardiac cath lab
- Clear communication skills, well developed
- Problem-solving skills at a well-developed level
- Well-developed skills in negotiation and in resolving conflict
- A strong understanding of the laws (legislation), professional standards and codes of practice that apply, and a commitment to keep learning through professional development
