Your work starts with the patient in front of you. You assess them, plan the care, give it and then check how they are doing. You work closely with a multidisciplinary team, which means doctors, nurses and other health staff working together. You also support patients and their families with respect and patience.

Key Responsibilities
- Assess emergency patients, plan their care, give it and check how they are doing
- Provide safe, effective care with the patient at the centre

- Use good clinical judgement in a busy department
Requirements & Eligibility
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse, or eligibility for registration
- At least 2 years of post-graduate nursing experience
- A postgraduate qualification in emergency nursing, or equivalent
- Ability to give high-quality nursing care in line with professional competency standards
- Strong critical thinking, communication and clinical decision-making
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team
