For probashi cooks and chefs who know what a full service feels like, here is a Perth role to consider. An award-winning modern Asian restaurant is hiring an experienced Chef de Partie or Commis Chef to join a kitchen team that is already successful.
The menu is built on big, bold and balanced flavours. The restaurant opens every day of the week for lunch and dinner and serves more than 1,000 covers a week. It belongs to a hospitality precinct with several venues, and all of them are served from one shared kitchen, so the work is busy and varied. The senior chefs are keen to train and develop their next leaders. Sponsorship may be considered for the right candidate. In simple words, the employer may choose to support a work visa for the person it sees as the right fit.

Key Responsibilities
- Cook exceptional food to the same standard every service
- Follow the recipes given by senior chefs
- Follow directions from managers and senior chefs
- Work on several sections, such as pans, wok and fryers, as well as larder and grill
- Work on your own initiative in a high-volume kitchen that moves fast
- Support the one shared kitchen that serves several venues in the precinct
Requirements & Eligibility
- At least 3 years as a chef in a high-volume kitchen that moves at a fast pace
- Experience relevant to the job you are applying for
- Asian cuisine experience is preferred but not essential
- A commercial cookery certificate
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays, with drive and a willingness to grow into a leadership role
