Registered Nurse / Midwife

Visa sponsorship

Healthcare · Bairnsdale, VIC, Australia · Full-Time · Discussed at interview · Visa: Employer sponsored

Looking for a probashi job in maternity care? A regional hospital in Bairnsdale, Victoria, Australia, has a vacancy for a Registered Nurse / Midwife. You must already be registered both as a midwife and as a nurse.

The work follows a continuity-of-care approach. That means one team looks after a mother from pregnancy check-ups, through labour in the birth suite, to the days after delivery. Obstetric emergencies are part of the role, and you share care with GP obstetricians, who are general practitioners with obstetric skills.

Your workplace is a baby-friendly accredited hospital where the maternity ward is being enhanced. Staff numbers are small, so every voice matters in day-to-day decisions, and there is professional development. The employer encourages international candidates with substantial maternity skills and experience, and offers sponsorship for temporary and permanent visas; in simple words, the employer is ready to back your visa application.
