Key Responsibilities
- Lead the floor in service, handle bookings and table flow, and work closely with the kitchen
- Keep service standards strong and coach staff during shifts
- Give guests good wine suggestions and food pairings
- Help train the staff on the wine list
- Close the restaurant, including cash-up and daily checklists
- Do rosters, training, stock and ordering to learn manager skills
- Greet regulars by name and give new guests a reason to return
Requirements & Eligibility
- Supervisory or senior floor experience in a quality, busy restaurant, ideally 2+ years
- Solid wine knowledge: able to discuss styles, regions and food pairings, and keen to learn more
- A clear idea of great service, kept up even on a big night
- A current Queensland RSA
- RMLV, or willing to complete it on the way to management
- Available for a seven-day roster, including nights, weekends and public holidays
- Full Australian working rights
