The work is full-time, on 5 or 6 days per week as agreed with you. It is residential and not FIFO. FIFO means a worker travels in for a block of shifts and then leaves, but here you stay in the town. A pre-employment medical with a drug and alcohol test is part of joining.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook food to a high standard
- Keep the quality of each dish steady
- Serve correct portions with neat presentation

- Give help with stock control and with ordering
- Rotate stock so older items are used first
- Keep the kitchen clean, safe and well arranged

Requirements & Eligibility
- Previous experience working as a cook or a chef
- Good understanding of how a kitchen operates and of food safety
- Ability to prepare consistent, high-quality meals; reliable and able to work under pressure
- Good communication and teamwork skills together with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Willingness to live and work locally
- Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery preferred, while relevant experience may be considered instead of formal qualifications; a Food Safety Certificate is preferred too
- A pre-employment medical that includes a drug and alcohol test
