Head Chef

Visa sponsorship

Hospitality · Sydney, NSW, Australia · Full-Time · Discussed at interview · Visa: Employer sponsored

Many Bangladeshi chefs have built strong careers in Gulf and Malaysian hotel kitchens. If yours includes leading a Japanese premium kitchen, this Head Chef opening in the Sydney CBD deserves a look. A group with several award-winning restaurants is taking expressions of interest for its new luxury Modern Japanese fine-dining restaurant, opening in mid 2027.

The Head Chef works closely with the Executive Chef, a fourth-generation Japanese chef from Osaka. Together they shape the menu. You lead the brigade across sushi, robata, omakase, à la carte and private dining, and you manage the kitchen's money: food costs, labour, purchasing and stock. Respect is central for this group. They want a confident, humble leader who never allows bullying or intimidation. Visa sponsorship is considered for exceptional international candidates.
